My Business is Growing by One More Letter
I’m really excited to be able to announce that I’m taking my local food journey a step further! My indie bakery in Greenville, SC is getting a physical location and some new faces. I get to add the letter “s” to my business name. You have no idea what a big deal this letter is for me.
Coming very soon (but not soon enough), I’ll have a place to feed you all food made with produce from all my favorite local farms. I’ll have a place to teach you to bake some of the things I bake and also hear all about what you love to bake. And best of all, I won’t be the only Bossy Baker.
I loved getting to work with interns Evaline and Jaime at the farmers market this summer. Baking with company beats baking alone hands down!
I’m so thankful for the businesses and organizations I’ve gotten to partner with while building my business these past four years. My baking business incubated at Imagine Kitchen, one of Greenville’s shared use kitchens. Jef and Stephanie have a great space and they’re a pleasure to work with.
The Taylors Farmers Market and the Greenville Saturday Market gave me great opportunities to grow my business and meet a community of businesses that I admire and enjoy working with.
Greenville’s awesome response to my holiday pie pickups for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Valentine’s Day helped me to start envisioning some of what you would want in a bakery. I’m so thankful to be a part of a thriving local food scene that values local ingredients.
Thank you for supporting me and helping me grow, Greenville! I’m looking forward to being a business that can offer a place to gather and a baking community.
